Alhambra online shop opens today!

The official Alhambra and Generalife online store opens today at www.alhambratienda.es. At the moment only in Spanish, English is announced to be available soon. The website is ready to handle inquiries and orders worldwide. All items that visitors can found at the Alhambra Library Store are also available on the web through this new tool providing all the information related to the Monument.

Granada, Spain's Muslim Jewel

Granada is the capital of the province of the same name. It is situated at the foot of Sierra Nevada, the highest mountain in the Iberian Peninsula. Located in Andalusia, southern Spain, has one of the biggest cultural heritages in this country. In addition to the world famous Alhambra and the Albaicin neighborhood, both designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Granada has a Renaissance cathedral and many other monuments dot the city in each of its corners.

Alhambra (Granada)

The Alhambra is a monumental complex within the city of Granada (Spain) built up over more than six hundred years with both Muslim and Christian influences. It consists on palaces, gardens, balconies, patios, fountains and forest shadow areas. The importance of the Alhambra was recognised in 1984 when it was inscribed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO.
